Feeling Overwhelmed & Under Accomplished, well I got what you need!

At times we all get to a point of dissatisfaction with our surroundings, our efforts, and even ourselves. Most of us have so many things going on rather it's school, work, or taking care of your home life.

I understand EXACTLY how you feel and I want to give you a few tips on how to fix the way you've been feeling.

STEP 1: TAKE A STEP BACK

We often have so much going on that we tend to speed past the problem. So we should just take a step back. In order to see what's in front of us we have to slow down and take the time out to map out our goals to ensure that we are taking the best possible route for ourselves. We can get caught up in going through the motion that we lose sight in the importance of detail.

STEP 2: EXPLORE A NEW HOBBY OR REKINDLE ANOLD ON

Being an adult was never supposed to be easy but as we are coming into adulthood we can't forget to do the things that makes us happy. Being overconsumed with "work" can create a damper on who we are as people. I believe that we should enjoy things while we have the chance and remember that there is more to life than paying bills & consuming ourselves with work. Find something that will take you to your happy place and enjoy.

STEP 3: MEDITATE DAILY

I know, I know, most of us think that this could be a waste or time or even "silly" but I can testify that it works wonders. Being able to sit or lay in silence and focus on nothing but the energies around you is a feeling like no other. Daily stress can make you feel stuck and allowing yourself to open up to the comforting strategies can help you become less concerned with the things that don't add to your happiness.

STEP 4: STOP COMPARING YOURSELF

Social media doesn't give us the opportunity to be ourselves like many think it does. We often times find that we are making ourselves feel worse due to the fact that someone our age is doing the things that we want to do. You have to remember to remain positive and work on yourself. Everybody has there time and it's okay if others get there's before you get yours.

STEP 5: GIVE YOURSELF MORE CREDIT

This is the biggest tip that even I often times stray away from. I place my efforts and accomplishments at a low level and don't take the proper time to celebrate the wins that I made for myself. In doing that I don't allow myself to be happy with the progress that I've made so when I sometimes get frustrated and discouraged.

I hope that these tips will help you the next time that you feel that you aren't feeling 100% confident in the progress that you've been making.
