Romance.
Slim chance. when we live in a generation that just wants to dance—
in between the sheets
with me.
Not recognizing thats there’s more to be—
Discovered.
We are lost and nowhere to be found.
We’ve gotten used to just being down—
To be full of lust and lacking trust. How do we evolve when everyone just wants to bust. It’s amazing how we are all going through this anti-love cycle. A generation that doesn’t want to multiple the nation.
We much rather be hard and stay there—
not to let anyone in because we don’t want them to see us bare.
I see now that we are scared.
Afraid of the unknown because we much rather be the ones sitting upon our throne.
Its a confusing time,
When I just want you to be mine.
Some say they want that 90’s R&B
but you don’t want to open up to me?
Honesty.
Honestly we don’t know what we want because we have so many sources telling us we are always wrong.
Time waits for no man.
Just like the generational love train.
You find a location, one final destination
Book the flight, pack your bag for the night
Approach the front door and now you thinking that you don’t really know anymore
Should you stay or should you go.
What‘s the worse that could happen?
You show up to the station hoping you’ll find the correct trans of portation.
Now what?
The train isn’t going to wait for you forever but if you stay in this place you’ll never know what could’ve happened more over.
Again and again we try to hide our true feelings.
But secretly that’s the real villIan.
Not allowing ourselves to be truly free. We are stuck in our brain
Damn, you just missed the generational love train.
